Pacifica National Board requests recovery plan from WBAI

Passed by the national finance committee 9-19-06:

WBAI station management, in collaboration with the ED, CFO, and LSB, will present a recovery plan to the National Finance Committee by Nov. 30. Prior to that date, spending authorizations for the station will be maintained at 2006 budgeted levels for each line item, and spending shall be closely monitored by the CFO. The CFO and ED have authorization to make modifications to spending levels with notification to the NFC. Authorization for any discretionary spending by WBAI will expire on Dec 1, 2006 unless the PNB approves a revised budget. The plan shall include the repayment, to the extent possible, of any shortfalls in central services payments that occurred in FY 06, and a reduction in reliance on national fundraising.
